Enjoy a nice evening sail on-board s/y Henrika. She is one of the biggest sail training vessels in Finland and owned and operated by local sea scout group Kupittaan Henrikinpojat. Each time you sail with Henrika, you at the same time support the valuable voluntary work of the sea scouts.

s/y Henrika is perfectly suited for an evening out with your family, friends or colleagues at work. She can take a maximum of 12 passengers. Everyone is welcome to participate in the boat handling and navigation. No previous sailing experience is required, but the crew consisting of qualified scout instructors will be happy teach you! And if you rather just admire the beautiful scenery of the firth of Airisto, that is perfectly fine as well!

During the cruise we service tea, coffee and light snacks.

Instructions for participants

Departure at 17:00 from Satava, south of Turku and return at 21:00. The address of the marina is Heinänokantie 16. You can reach the marina:

  • by bus nr 14 (direction Eerikvalla), for the bus schedule from the Turku region Journey planner at reittiopas.foli.fi
  • by taxi, the price for a taxi from the Turku is city center is about 45€
  • by car, see location of free parking on the map above

Dress

At sea it is always important to dress according to the weather so check the forecast. You will need warm and windproof clothers, sun glasses, at hat and good shoes with preferably rubber soles.
