As is customary, we intend to spend the Midsummer Weekend in the Finnish archipelago. We will be leaving from Espoo on Friday morning, June 25. From here, we will be sailing west arriving in Barösund in the afternoon.

Barösund is a picturesque piece of our archipelago and they have all the necessary facilities available. We will be enjoying supper in the evening at Restaurant Scola, maybe the best restaurant in our southern archipelago. The party usually continues into the night, either at Scola or back on the yacht.

On Saturday, we’ll continue west to Hanko, the most southern town in Finland and the also Finnish riviera! The town is also famous for Hangö regattan, the largest sailing regatta in Finland and also a little bit of a carnival. We’ll be enjoying dinner in one of the excellent restaurants at the waterfront.
